Compressed Air Filters
The life of the Compressed Air system depends upon the proper selection of Air Filters, which in turn prevents damage to compressed air equipment systems and saves the component replacement costs, reduces the down time of the equipment and improves the life of the whole system.
Filter elements have a specific flow capacity measured in CFM and a particulate size rating measured in Microns.
Insufficient air supply problems encountered downstream from your compressed air filter are caused by the choking of the filter element. If the air tool or the applications is not getting enough air - as specified , check the element, clean the filter element or replace the same.
We also provide Vacuum Indicators as part of the Air Cleaner Assembly. The indicator shows the pressure drop across the filter, the increase in pressure drop indicates that the filter elements are doing its job by trapping dirt from the inlet air stream. The dirtier your air, the sooner the filter elements will choke.
